What is the best way to contact the Hip Chicks?

Please email us with any questions or concerns. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. We will make every effort to respond as soon as possible. We are glued to our computers and iPhones so you should expect a pretty quick response with the exception of holidays, weekends and other peak shopping times.

Is your payment site secure?

At Three Hip Chicks, any payment information entered online is through a secure website. Your credit card information is never seen or stored by anyone. Any payment information given to us will not be sold or released to any third party establishments.

Will you respect my privacy?

Three Hip Chicks is committed to respecting your privacy. We assure you that all personal information submitted to us via threehipchicks.com is kept secure and confidential and is not shared with third-party companies. We may contact you via email from time to time to alert you of special sales and promotions. If you wish to be removed from our email list, please contact us.

What is your refund policy?

Most of our products are customized and personalized just for you; therefore they are non-returnable and are non-refundable. Please choose your personalization carefully and contact us prior to ordering with any questions in regards to monogramming, fonts, colors, etc. Make sure that your order is accurate before submitting as all sales are final.  Once your order is placed we are unable to cancel or change shipping address. You will receive an order confirmation shortly after placing your order so please review your confirmation carefully. If you see an error in your order, notify us immediately because once your order is placed, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to change it due to quick production times.

Why am I billed before my item ships?

Your credit card will be processed before any personalization starts. By processing your card before the personalization begins it assures that we can confidently begin your custom personalization and shipment.

When can I expect my items to ship?

Since our products are customized just for you, the average turnaround is 5-14 business days plus ship time.  Some items take even longer depending on workmanship and popularity. Turnaround time varies from product to product, so please refer to product descriptions prior to placing an order.  These times do not include holidays, rush season or acts of God beyond our control.  Please plan accordingly prior to placing your order.  We are always happy to answer any questions regarding shipping and will do our best to accommodate rush orders or requested dates but you must contact customer service at customerservice@threehipchicks.com to confirm your request.  Three Hip Chicks promises our items are worth the wait!

Can I track my order?

All orders will ship UPS, Fed Ex or USPS priority mail.  Please refer to your products estimated shipping time prior to contacting customer service regarding your order status.  We will email tracking information as soon as it becomes available.  

Three Hip Chicks is not responsible for packages that are shipped to an incorrect address due to customer error. Please include apartment/suite numbers as they are often missed. A $20 return item fee will be charged for returned packages. Again, please refer to your order confirmation carefully to ensure all information is correct.

Can you ship to PO Boxes?

We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes so please provide a street address when ordering.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally at this time.

Do you gift wrap and can I include a gift message?

We do not gift-wrap but in a few cases we can send a gift message. Please leave a message in the comments section and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

I only received part of my order?

Please keep in mind if you have ordered multiple items, they may arrive at different times and in different packages. Most of our products are shipped directly from our vendors so if your order contains products from different vendors they will arrive separately.

I just received my order and it is incorrect/damaged. What should I do?

Go back and check the submitted order. Make sure the monogram is typed correctly, colors are correct and item is the one you wanted. If we made a mistake, we will gladly replace your item. If you made a mistake, it is yours to keep. At times errors do occur or items are damaged during shipping. Three Hip Chicks wants to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and will make every effort to correct any errors on our part.  Damaged items will be repaired or replaced at Three Hip Chicks discretion. Any replacement will get the exact personalization stated in the original order. If for some reason your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect please contact us at customerservice@threehipchicks.com within 48 hours and supply the following information.  

1. Name, date of purchase and order number

2. Please supply a photo of your damaged item (front and back)

3. Brief description of your claim.

Your claim will not be reviewed without the above information.  Once your claim is received please allow 2 business days for review. 

What order are the letters in a monogram?

Most personalization information will be processed in the exact order you enter it. Traditional monograms are done in first, LAST, middle order.

EXAMPLE- Mary Ann Smith will appear as mSa

***There are a few minor exceptions on some Men’s items and cell phone cases that use the traditional block monogram font. In that case the initials are entered in the order, first, MIDDLE, last name order. 

EXAMPLE- John Joseph Smith will appear JJS

All names and text will appear exactly as entered. Some names and texts are case sensitive in regards to capital and lower case letters.

Examples of monogram and personalization fonts are displayed on each product.  Please choose them carefully as your order will be processed EXACTLY as you enter it.

General Font/Color Selection Questions

FONTS: Three Hip Chicks offer a wide variety of fonts to choose from. Each letter within each font choice is unique so please choose your font carefully as we are not responsible for a font you choose and then do not like.

EXAMPLE- In the circle monogram font, it can look slightly cut off or squared off if you have a “J”, “L” or “O” as the first or middle initial, and the “D” in the left hand position will come out backwards to keep the integrity of the circle.

COLOR VARIANCE: Colors on products may vary slightly depending on your computer resolution. Printed colors may also vary between products due to different mediums.  For this reason color variances are unavoidable.  Color variance is not a defect and will not be replaced or refunded.

 

How do I care for my jewelry?

To ensure your continued enjoyment of your Three Hip Chicks jewelry it must be properly maintained.

To ensure that your metals retain their best appearance it is best to store your jewelry in sealed bags to slow oxidation of the metals. Always store jewelry away from bright lights so that the original brilliance of any stones or crystals is maintained. Protect your jewelry from direct contact with chemicals including hair products, lotions or perfumes. It is best to keep your jewelry away from chemical (such as chlorine in swimming pools).
An occasional gentle soap (such as Dove) and water wash and thorough rinse in tepid water will remove natural skin oils and dirt, which can cause dulling or oxidation. Make sure to dry with a soft cloth and buff after cleaning. For metal items, a gentle polishing cloth works well, too. Our jewelry should never be dipped in liquid jewelry cleaner.

General Wear & Tear Questions

Any item will wear over time. Sterling Silver will Oxidate causing a tarnish effect over time.  Keep in a sealed bag when not wearing.  Scratches will occur when worn, and is not considered a defect.   Please refer to our Policies page for specifics on particular items.  Gold vermeil will wear after extended wear, and we can have it re-dipped upon request. We reserve the right to replace or repair your item or issue a refund if there is a problem. We are not responsible for breakage due to improper care.

Cellphone/Tech Cases and covers

Our cell phone and tech cases and covers come in a wide variety of protection options from a fashion style to a tough OtterBox.  Keep in mind with any product they are breakable as well as the phone or device, if you drop or mishandle. Three Hip Chicks will not replace your case if broken due to dropping or improperly removing from your phone. Unless we are notified immediately after you received your case, we will not approve a claim due to breakage.   We suggest once your case is on your phone do not remove.   Please use common sense in regards to wear and tear, and generally your phone case is handled many times throughout your day and will get dirty, will experience some general wear.   Three Hip Chicks does not warranty your electronic devices from damage or breakage with the use of monogrammed or personalized tech cases or accessories.  White will get dirty from use, the cases may show scuffmarks and products will demonstrate wear and tear.  Three Hip Chicks is not responsible for damage due to dropping, throwing, running over with a car, or spilling a cocktail on your cute customized case. Customers are responsible for the care of their product.  Please note that the use of Hand sanitizer, lotions and chemicals will damage your custom items. 

How do I apply my wall decal?

Each decal should come with detailed instructions and an application tool. Please read the instructions carefully. Our decals can be applied to smooth, dust free, clean surfaces. Our vinyl is very thin and is meant to mold and follow the grooves of the wall. However, sandy type paint surfaces and heavily textured walls may not give the vinyl any place to grab on to. Please use your discretion when ordering, as all sales are final. Wait 3 weeks to one month to apply to a newly painted wall. Our wall decals are not reusable or Repositionable.
